Fourth Annual Kool-Aid Jammers Boat Races
(5 to 12-year olds only).

Event Day: Friday Event Time: Boats on display at 4:00 PM - Races start at 5:00 PM

THE HULL
• Build the HULL with Kool-Aid Jammers packets and/or Kool-Aid Bursts bottles (minimum of five packets and/or bottles). Make sure that you have washed out all the Kool-Aid!
NO wood, plastic, Styrofoam, or other floating waterproof material THE TOPSIDE
• Decorations that are not part of the boat’s hull can
be made of any material EXCEPT metal or glass. Be creative! • Do not
include pointed objects or sharp edges that could injure anyone
handling the boat.
ON RACE DAY
• Check-in with the race officials at the boat display
area by 4 PM. Only those who have registered by 4 PM will be allowed to
race! 2009 Winners!
Hundreds of people gathered on Friday, August 14, 2009 to watch miniature boats made of Kool-Aid Jammers and Bursts race on the Lazy River at the Hastings City Aquacourt. Boats went on display starting at 4 PM and race heats began at 5 PM with awards ceremony following.
